Order Info

All orders are cut, packed, and shipped from the Balkello Fabrics studio in the Fremont neighborhood of Seattle. As of August 2024, orders are fulfilled on Mondays and Thursdays.

Please allow up to 7 calendar days for your order to ship. Most orders are shipped more quickly, but sometimes we have a busy week and it just takes a little extra time to get everything out.

If you need your order quickly, please leave a note at checkout or send us an email at hello@balkellofabrics.com and we'll let you know how quickly we can process it.

Shipping Materials

Balkello reuses and recycles all of our packing and shipping materials, so your order will arrive in packaging that's already been on a journey or two. This isn't only better for the environment, but better for everyone's wallets too. We rely on donations of used materials from Seattle area folks. If you'd like to donate materials, check out our donation page here.

Seattle Order Pickup

Seattle area customers are welcome to pick up their order from the Fremont studio for free! You can select "local pickup" from the shipping options at checkout. If you paid for shipping but decide to pick up your order instead, send us an email and we can easily refund your shipping.

The studio does not have regular business hours and is not a public storefront, so pickup appointments always need to be made in advance. Leave a note at checkout with a few dates and times that work for you, or send us an email at hello@balkellofabrics.com to arrange a pickup time.

Refunds + Returns

All sales are final. Once an order has been placed and the fabric has been cut, we can't provide refunds. Generally the only exception is if there's an error on our end, in which case we'll reach out to you and propose a few options for how to proceed, which will include exchanges or refunds.
