Precious vintage silks and cottons in shades of pink make up the "economy block" quilt block at the center of this sweatshirt. The deep green shade, paired with pinks (which I don't usually use!) made me think of Portland, Oregon, with its tall evergreen trees and many many rose gardens dotted around the city.
